I went on a photo foray at Great Meadows National Wildlife Refuge with Cherrie Corey a field naturalist, educator and photographer. Although it was a dark day it was still beautiful. I always learn so much when I am with her, she explains what we are seeing and hearing all around us. I was so happy I had my telephoto lens with me and was able to capture a woodpecker high up in the trees. While we were at the Concord River the sun did peek out and I captured the photo of the river. Please check out Cherrie’s website and consider joining her on her walks – Sense of Place Concord.
