We have 3+ feet of snow on the ground and lots of ice. It is so beautiful but very tough walking in the woods. After days of snow followed by sleet and rain I woke to sunshine this morning. I walked in Estabrook Woods, 1200+ acres of woodland, the largest contiguous and undeveloped woodland within 30 miles of Boston.
This is at the entrance to Estabrook Woods, a private residence.
Although the trees are bare, they are beautiful against the blue skies and winter snowscape.
